Atende em Casa: An App for COVID-19 Symptoms Evaluation
Atende em Casa is an Android app developed by Brainy Resolution Ltda in partnership with the government of Pernambuco, Brazil. The app is part of an initiative by the Recife City Hall to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Atende em Casa is exclusively designed for the evaluation of flu-like symptoms caused by the novel coronavirus and should not be used for the suspicion of other diseases.
The app is available in 100 cities in Pernambuco, as well as in Fortaleza - CE, Mamanguape - PB, Maceió - PB, Piauí, and Porto Velho - AM. In case of need, healthcare professionals can guide the user through a video call about their health condition. Atende em Casa is a free app and is part of the collective effort to fight against the new coronavirus.
